Jeevodaya is a "Hospice for Advanced Cancer Patients".

Jeevodaya was established on August 15th 1991, in Chennai, India. It is one of the most humanitarian and challenging projects of our times in India.

A group of committed people belonging to various religions and from different parts of the country have come together with the noble aim of rendering continuing service to the "Poor and Abandoned Cancer Patients". Jeevodaya is thus a supreme example of National Integration and Unity.

It is therefore Providence that has most appropriately ordained that Jeevodaya Day, should coincide with the country's Independence Day, 15th August.

Jeevodaya is a purely Charitable and Non Profit Organisation.
