God is in control. Don't fear. Carry on and see Jesus in each of the patients you opted to serve, as Saint Mother Teresa has said and acted so in deed too. In the precious name of Jesus. Amen. I want to visit some patients and pray over them which is a routine from our "Center For Gospel Truth" Royapuram. I shall visit anytime during the day unless I am restricted due to your visiting hours for outsiders. Convey my love in Jesus, to all inmates (Patients and Executives) in the Hospice. Hebrews 13:5 "....I will never leave thee nor forsake thee."

Dear Rev. Sisters,
I had a chance to look at the face of Arockia Mary who passed away yesterday (April 20, 2010) at the cemetery. I could make out from her serene face that she had a peaceful death because of the kind attention and care she had while in the hospice. I do not think she could have had better care anywhere. You have recognized and shown respect to this individual though you know she had a terminal illness but treated her as if she would live.
When we admitted her, we were given to understand that expected survival of Arockia Mary was six months or less. However the high quality of care given on physical, emotional and spiritual needs and comfort has extended her life beyond our imagination.
I think once again God is pleased and glorified by your dedication to the cause of the suffering.
We learn from you what ‘care’ means. We shall pray for all the Sisters of the Franciscan Clarist Congregation of Kerala, that God bless you all abundantly and may your Congregation increase - because the world needs more Sisters like you to take care of the less fortunate and those who have no one else to care for them

We had the opportunity to visit Jeevodaya in 2006, amidst morbid the atmosphere of sick and dying persons, it is worthwhile to remember how the sisters there patiently and with such love and care look after them, from the faces of the patients we read that they are happy and very well looked after.
May God shower his blessings on the wonderful organisation.

I have had the the privilege of meeting the medical director of Jevvodaya and other dedicated staff and was impressed with their devotion to their cause. How difficult such a job must be but they do it joyfully! People of Chennai are indeed fortunate to have such an innovative hospice in their midst that provides free care to the needy at the most difficult time in their lives.

Life becomes easy when we start realizing that most things are illusion. Then we never worry and we can start enjoying life.
Wishing all the hospice members a happy stay.

I think what you people are doing here is absolutely amazing and the very thought that such socially responsible citizens still prevail in our country and amidst us gives a warm ray of hope in my heart that there is still some hope for humankind and humanitarian deeds.

kind hearted sir/madam,
first i apologise for my grammatical mistakes that i am going to make in this,as i am not good in english
just an hour before i visited JEEVODAYA with my friends,as i concerned that a very good job is being done by JEEVODAYA,and also i thought money and special foods will not make the patients happy as the kind words and the care we give them.and also i pray for the good hearts in JEEVODAYA,i will b stay in touch
thanks,
selva

Excellent work. The appearance of the buildings, body language and expressions of the staff via these photographs make this hospice feel like a place of hope and a relief from pain for cancer patients. Palliative care, trauma management etc are relatively unknown words in our country that otherwise prides itself as a contributor of doctors and nurses to the world medical community.
