whose disease does not respond to curative treatment."
Palliative
care at Jeevodaya is rendered by a caring and dedicated multiprofessional
team. Who are trained in palliative care and have a good understanding
of palliative care. (The Medical officer and the Nursing superintendent
were selected by the W.H.O. to undergo a training in palliative
care at Oxford,U.K)
Jeevodaya,
provides to the needy, a bed to sleep, clothes to wear, suitable
meals, and above all pain relief and palliative care and the right
to die with dignity as every human being should.
Jeevodaya also organises burials and cremations to suit the religious
convictions of the deceased.
